Collei Best Build Guide Genshin Impact
Welcome! This Guide will cover every aspect of Collei build in Genshin Impact. Talent, Weapons, Artifacts, Constellations, Team Comps, etc.
Collei Character Overview – Genshin Impact Guide
Collei is a playable Dendro character in Genshin Impact.
She has appeared in the official Manga and serves as one of its main characters. Originally a victim of Fatui human experimentation, Collei wandered the world as a vagrant until she met Amber in Mondstadt. Since then, Collei has turned her life around, and currently serves as a trainee Forest Ranger in the Avidya Forest.

Collei’s Talent Analysis – Genshin Impact Guide
Collei’s Talent Priority – Genshin Impact Collei Guide
Elemental Skill ≥ Burst > Normal Attacks
Normal Attack
Collei belongs more to a Quick Switch Sub DPS/Support role. She primarily uses Elemental Skills and Bursts before directly leaving the field to switch characters. Therefore, when allocating Talent points, Normal Attacks can be ignored to save resources.
Elemental Skill (E)
After hitting enemies with her Skill, 3 Dendro Elemental Particles are generated.
Both the throwing and return of her Floral Ring inflict 1 weak Dendro Elemental aura, which means throwing the Floral Ring out and having it return can inflict Dendro reactions on each enemy twice.
Elemental Burst (Q)
Her Burst is a persistent off-field Dendro aura application skill. When used with related elements, it can continuously trigger related Dendro reactions and provide a persistent Dendro environment for the team.
For example, in a Bloom team with Hydro characters, it can continuously produce Dendro Cores; when used with Pyro characters, it can extend the duration of Burning.
Her Burst inflicts weak Dendro Elemental Aura.
Her Burst has a snapshot effect based on the stats when casting (when triggering Catalyze or Transformative Reactions, Elemental Mastery is not snapshotted).
Passive Talent
Passive Talent 1
The triggering of this talent is limited to “from throwing the Floral Ring to its return“, which is very easy to achieve for Dendro reaction teams. Regardless of whether other characters trigger Dendro reactions or Collei’s Floral Ring itself triggers Dendro reactions, it can be triggered.
The attack from the “Sprout effect” applies weak Dendro Elemental Aura.
Passive Talent 2
Characters need to trigger Dendro reactions within the skill area to extend the Burst duration; outside the area they cannot.
Collei’s Best Weapon Choice – Genshin Impact Collei Guide
Support/functionality -focused
After equipping Elegy for the End, both Collei’s Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst can increase the stack number upon hitting enemies, which can quickly trigger the Millennial Movement effect to provide the team with additional Elemental Mastery and ATK%, thereby increasing the team’s output.
The substat of the weapon increases Energy Recharge, which can optimize Collei’s energy regeneration.
Sacrificial Bow and Favonius Warbow are high Cost-effective choices. Their substats provide Energy Recharge, and either the chance to reset skill CD or generating a small amount of additional elemental particles can accelerate Collei’s energy accumulation and optimize her Burst energy regeneration.
To enable Favonius Warbow to trigger its passive effect more stably, it is recommended that Collei stack 60-80% Crit Rate.
Increase damage output
The substat of Fading Twilight increases Energy Recharge to optimize Collei’s energy cycle. Its passive effect can also increase Collei’s skill damage (this damage increase effect is not included in the character stats panel, so it is not affected by snapshot skills).
In an Electro-Dendro Catalyze team, The Stringless can greatly enhance Collei’s output. Both its substat and passive effect can increase Collei’s self-damage and damage upon triggering Spread. It can be a top priority for increasing Collei’s own output.
【Weapon Selection Summary】
1. If the orientation is Support/Functionality, it is recommended to prioritize weapons with the Energy Recharge substat, such as Elegy for the End, Sacrificial Bow, Favonius Warbow, and Fading Twilight.
2. For the purpose of increasing damage, options include Fading Twilight, The Stringless, Skyward Harp, Aqua Simulacra, and Elegy for the End.
Collei’s Best Artifact Recommendation- Genshin Impact Collei Guide
Collei’s Recommended Artifact – Genshin Impact Collei Guide
The 4-piece effect of the “Deepwood Memories” artifact set does not stack to decrease enemy Dendro RES, repeated triggering only resets the duration.
The 4-piece effect of the “Instructor” artifact set is triggered only when the equipped character is on-field; it cannot be triggered off-field.
When there is only one Dendro character (Collei) in the team and it is not a Bloom team, the 4-piece Instructor can be chosen.
When there are other Dendro damage dealers or the team involves Bloom reactions, the 4-piece “Deepwood Memories” can be used.
Main/Substats Priority – Genshin Impact Collei Guide
When built as Support/Utility, focus on regenerating Energy for her Burst. For single Dendro (only Collei), Energy Recharge is recommended between 200-230%; for double Dendro, Energy Recharge is recommended between 180-200%.
When using Favonius Warbow, Crit Rate is recommended between 60-80%.
As a Sub DPS, not only Energy Recharge needs to be considered but also stats like Elemental Mastery (reactions), Crit DMG, etc. need to be stacked.
Collei’s Constellation Effects Guide in Genshin Impact
Collei’s Constellation – Genshin Impact Guide
Explanation of Constellation Effects – Genshin Impact Collei Guide
- Constellation 1 improves Collei’s off-field energy Recharge, which can optimize her ability to apply off-field Dendro and act as a Quick Switch Sub DPS.
- The effect of Constellation 2 increases the time Collei provides off-field Dendro application, which can then trigger more related Dendro reactions (such as extending Quicken duration and Burning duration, etc.).
- Constellation 4 can slightly increase the team’s Elemental Mastery.
- Constellations 3, 5 and 6 all increase Collei’s damage.
【Constellation Summary】
If Collei is at Constellation 0, the need for off-field Dendro application relies more on her Burst. After unlocking Constellation 2, her Elemental Skill can provide up to 6 seconds of off-field melee Dendro application.
Although Constellation 4 can increase Elemental Mastery, the amount is low. However, based on the principle that “every little bit helps”, more Elemental Mastery is better for Dendro reaction teams.
To maximize Collei’s burst damage potential, Constellation 6 is the best option. However, it is not recommended for non-Collei mains to force pulls on 4-star characters. In other words, Constellation 0 is enough; Constellation 2 and 4 are optimal for a Support Collei; Constellation 6 is recommended to further increase damage.
Collei’s Best Team Comps – Genshin Impact Guide
Double Dendro Catalyze Team Comps – Genshin Impact Guide
Tighnari + Collei + Zhongli + Yae Miko / Keqing / Fischl
Tighnari and Collei form double Dendro resonance to increase the team’s Elemental Mastery, which enhances the team’s Aggravate and Spread damage. Since the Quicken reaction applies the “Quicken” state to enemies, all Electro and Dendro attacks during this state can trigger Aggravate and Spread reactions. The more Electro and Dendro outputs in the team, the higher the team’s burst damage potential.
In an Catalyze team comp, both Tighnari and Yae Miko can use the 4-piece “Gilded Dreams” set. Collei uses the 4-piece “Deepwood Memories” set. Fischl chooses the 4-piece “Tenacity of the Millelith” set.
Double Electro Catalyze Team Comps – Genshin Impact Guide
Keqing + Fischl + Zhongli + Collei
Fischl can replaced by: Yae Miko
Similar to double Dendro Catalyze , there are at least 2 Electro and Dendro damage dealers in the team. In this team comp, Electro characters act as the main damage dealers. Keqing and Fischl have considerable frequency of Electro aura application. Fischl provides off-field Electro and Keqing has high on-field burst damage.
In this team comp, the main damage comes from Electro. Collei can choose the 4-piece “Instructor” or 4-piece “Noblesse Oblige” set to increase the damage of Electro characters.
In this team comp, the Dendro character only needs to trigger the Quicken reaction with the Electro character. Since the Electro application that triggers Aggravate does not consume, Zhongli can be chosen with the 4-piece “Archaic Petra” set. By picking up Electro Crystals (while equipped), the damage of all Electro characters is increased.
Hyperbloom Team Comps – Genshin Impact Guide
Off-field Electro damage: Dendro Traveler + Collei + Kokomi + Yae Miko
On-field Hydro damage: Dendro Traveler + Collei + Ayato + Kuki Shinobu
【Note】
Yae Miko can replaced by: Fischl
Dendro Traveler can also be replaced by Nilou or Cyno to increase the team’s output. In this case, Collei needs to increase her own Energy Recharge.
【Off-field Hydro application】
When Kokomi is chosen as the character to provide off-field Hydro aura and trigger Bloom reactions with Dendro, the character triggering Hyperbloom can be someone with a certain amount of Electro damage and can quickly trigger Hyperbloom, such as Keqing, Fischl, Yae Miko, etc. That is, to trigger the Hyperbloom reaction while also using their own Electro damage to supplement the team’s damage.
【On-field Hydro application】
When Ayato is chosen as the on-field damage dealer, Kuki Shinobu can be selected to trigger Hyperbloom.
Kuki Shinobu’s healing is related to her max HP and Elemental Mastery. Artifact main stats can focus on stacking Elemental Mastery, while substats focus on stacking %HP.
That’s all for this Collei character guide. See you next time!
